“Stand Tall”

This composition was written during the pandemic at a time when everything seemed uncertain. There was a sense of great loss, despair and sadness in the passing of many loved ones as well as the sudden transitioning of elders and "musical giants" within the community. We witnessed urgent matters within our community at large, being exposed and brought to the attention of the world in a way that made everyone see and understand the moral role each person plays as a member of the human race in fighting for racial and social equality. Stand Tall was written to serve as a reminder and encouragement to us all to stand up, keep fighting and to keep standing tall in the face of adversity.
