"A Witch Gets Married"
A Witch Gets Married Growing up as the son of immigrants from the Dominican Republic, many of the most vivid memories involve my parents telling me about the country’s folklore. So many of the stories and superstitions fascinated me but the one that painted the most vivid mental image is of a witch getting married. It was said that whenever it rained while the sun was shining and the skies were clear, a witch was getting married somewhere. “A Witch Gets Married” aims to capture the image of witches surrounding bubbling cauldrons in the Caribbean sun.
